Our Management Team
Brent Bauer founded Fulcrum Technologies in 1998. His consistent, principled leadership has guided the company through some of the most turbulent economic conditions in recent history, to where it has become a leading provider of Enterprise Asset Management solutions to some of the world’s most recognized companies.
Brent has been chosen by the Puget Sound Business Journal as one of Western Washington’s top business people and featured in Washington CEO Magazine. His successful 27-year history in management and sales in the computer software and hardware industries is based upon operating from a strong set of core values and putting customer needs first.
Brent holds a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Communications from Seattle Pacific University. He has a passion for the outdoors which is reflected in Fulcrum’s website imagery and embedded links to environmental causes.
Nancy Ordway joined Fulcrum in 2010 when Fulcrum’s previous CFO of more than twelve years retired. Nancy oversees Fulcrum’s Finance, IT and Human Resources departments as well as being responsible for most internally-facing aspects of Fulcrum’s operations.
With over 20 years of management experience, Nancy has directed financial operations for both large and small organizations alike. In addition to her expertise in finance precepts, such as GAAP, she brings to Fulcrum extensive knowledge of the software industry and international business practices as well as mergers and acquisitions. She also has a strong base of experience in Information Technology and Human Resources.
Nancy holds a Bachelor’s degree from Portland State University and a Master’s degree in International Business Management from the Thunderbird School of International Management.
Steven Anderson joined Fulcrum in 2011 and is responsible for driving the company’s technology and product directions as well as the overall customer engagement and delivery model. Steven leads the professional services, software development/engineering and technical support organizations within Fulcrum.
Steven is an experienced high-tech entrepreneur and CXO with a broad range of skills across various stages of corporate development from start-up to later-stage operationally-focused growth. He has delivered consistently successful results in the areas of organizational infrastructure and processes, fund raising, team building, and leadership.
Additionally, Steven has deep experience in the SaaS/Cloud space, including Cloud business models, product development and marketing. Since attending the University of Washington, his 22 years of industry experience have given him strong technical acumen and a solid foundation of both operational and strategic business expertise.
Don Fifer joined Fulcrum in 1998 shortly after the company was founded. His 14 years with Fulcrum, combined with his customer-focused attitude and passion for success give Don the unique perspective to lead Fulcrum’s sales organization.
Don understands that the only sustainable competitive advantage an organization can really have are its team members and he makes sure that everyone at Fulcrum — especially his sales team — is oriented at improving the customer experience. Don excels at helping his team understand customer needs and translate those into effective solutions for managing corporate infrastructure.
Don has more than 26 years of sales and management experience and has been chosen by the Des Moines Business Record as one of the top business people in the greater Des Moines area. He holds both a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Iowa.
